Privacy Policy
Your information should be treated with care.
Last updated June 18, 2026. This policy explains what MaggotTruth collects, why it is collected, and the choices you have.
What we collect
If you use the contact or story form, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, reason for contacting us, and message. A patient story may include health information if you choose to include it.
Cloudflare Web Analytics also provides general information about visits, such as pages viewed, referring websites, approximate country, browser type, device type, and website performance. MaggotTruth does not use this analytics tool to build advertising profiles.
How information is used
Contact information is used to read and respond to messages, evaluate story submissions, manage media inquiries, protect the site from abuse, and understand how the public uses the website.
Submitting a story does not give MaggotTruth permission to publish it. We will contact you and request separate, clear permission before publishing any part of a personal story.
Where messages go
Website forms are processed through Cloudflare and delivered to the MaggotTruth Outlook inbox operated through Microsoft. These providers may process technical and message data as part of providing their services.
The forms are not designed as a medical record system and should not be treated as a secure patient portal. Please do not submit urgent requests, full medical records, insurance numbers, Social Security numbers, or other information that is not needed for your message.
How long information is kept
Messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the project, document permission, or meet legal and safety needs. Story material that is not moving forward for publication may be deleted when it is no longer needed.
Sharing and selling
MaggotTruth does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that operate the website, analytics, and email delivery, or when required to protect safety, comply with law, or investigate misuse.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we have about you, correct it, withdraw a story from consideration, or request deletion when legally and technically possible. Email hello@maggottherapybasics.com.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child submitted personal information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as the project adds services or features. The date at the top will be updated when material changes are made.
